At Ape's Forgotten Treasures

My work as a treasure curator: finding, presenting, researching, photographing, and telling the story of objects with a second life.

Our Goals

Keeping forgotten treasures out of landfills.

We collect, clean, and restore those treasures when possible. What we cannot restore, we repurpose, giving it a new life. At Ape's Forgotten Treasures, we find treasures a new home, a new family, and a new life of their own.

Treasure Curating with April Johnson

Ape's Forgotten Treasures is a journey I share alongside my mom, April Johnson. My role can include design support, assistant curation, item research, photography, listing preparation, and helping shape the story around each find.

This page will become the single feature hub for that work, connecting the shop platforms and the blog while keeping the focus on curation, sustainability, visual presentation, and object storytelling.

Follow our journey as we keep forgotten treasures out of landfills and help them find new homes, new families, and new lives of their own.
